Goodness Graz-ious Me!

I OFTEN find myself looking lovingly at the contents of the vending machine at work.
All those shiny foil-wrapped chocolate bars and gleaming packets of crisps standing to attention, willing to be selected by the simple punch of button.
These longing stares though, are usually the result of my own laziness to pack the right kind of snacks to see me through 'til dinner.
Any nutritionist worth their weight will tell you that eating three meals a day isn't enough to keep your metabolism fired up - and that 'grazing' is key to a solid immune system, consistent energy, and even weight loss.
But grazing on Dairy Milk and Doritos doesn't count.
So, the aptly named graze.com has created the perfect solution by offering nutritionally-balanced snack boxes delivered to your desk on Tuesdays and Thursdays.
My first box of Graze goodies arrived yesterday and I was delighted with the quality of the produce and stylishly quirky brown cardboard packaging - which is also environmentally friendly.
Inside, a selection of fresh fruit, nuts and dried fruits, along with details on their nutritional statistics, as well as company profile.
My package contained juicy chopped pineapple; a container of roasted hazelnuts, and a supply of Graze's Loco in Acapulco mix featuring dried pineapple, jumbo raisins and pecans.
The pineapple was far superior to the standard supermarket pre-packed stuff and the nuts and dried fruit packed with flavour.
Customers can design boxes to suit their own tastes - or leave it to pot luck - and there is a wide selection of goodies including fruit, nuts, seeds, olives and savoury snacks such as wasabi coated peanuts. And on the days when only chocolate will do there is tasty treats such as dried strawberries, raspberries and white chocolate buttons.
Take a glance at their light-hearted, cleverly designed website, which is packed with information on health and nutrition, the company ethos and product range.
There's also a special offer at the moment where new customers receive their first box of goodies free, and their second at half price (normal price £2.99 including UK delivery).

What's your favourite snack? Let me know...

What a great idea - but sadly, I just don't find fruit does it for me when I'm lacking energy. We've got a whole box of it on our desk (a gift from head office), but I still end up with a packet of Minstrels!

Ha ha! I know what you mean. This company does give you the option of some tasty choccie treats too, such as peanut covered raisins. Not quite like Minstrels though, but could sate the craving for choc!

I got a couple of orders from them, they're really good and I love the boxes they come in. Sadly I couldn't afford to get one every week. If I were working I definitely would.
